The library portion encompasses a spacious open layout, characterized by exposed wood trusses and delineated areas created by varying stack heights and designated study spaces. It includes a dedicated meeting room, welcoming reading areas, and a vibrant children’s section designed to inspire young readers. Large windows along the eastern facade, combined with the open trusses, enhance the library’s ambiance, making it both airy and inviting for all patrons. Additionally, the circulation department is equipped with offices and workstations, ensuring efficient library operations and exceptional patron service.
The distribution center is equipped with three garages, a specialized book sorting room, and a workshop. This facility centralizes the library’s logistical capabilities, enabling efficient book processing and distribution to better serve the county library system.
An outdoor reading garden complements the library’s offerings, providing a flexible space for community events, gatherings, and educational programs. This tranquil environment promotes a love for reading while enhancing community interaction.
