Powers Auditorium
DeYor Performing Arts Center
Burton, Ohio

The DeYor Performing Arts Center consists of three interconnecting renovation, restoration, and expansion projects.
The former storefront space adjacent to the theater entrance was converted into new Symphony Society offices and a new box office area that not only serves the Symphony, but other public and private performance venues. Granite and decorative metal panels, salvaged from a former downtown Youngstown landmark (The Higbee Building), were utilized in the new design for the box office entrance. The building sign was replaced and the vertical marquee remodeled in 1968 was refurbished with materials and design more appropriate to the original building design.
