(330) 744-4401 ext. 106
Jay is actively involved in day-to-day project and firm management. He brings a unique perspective to the firm encompassing both architecture and engineering viewpoints. He became a registered architect in 1994 and holds a degree in Civil Engineering. This allows him to see projects from two vantage points which enhances design from planning through construction.
He has long been an advocate of sustainable design. As a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the US Green Building Commission, he looks for energy efficiencies and ways to protect the environment which benefit clients. He also has expertise in the adaptive reuse of buildings, particularly those with historic significance.
As a project architect, Jay has designed and led a vast array of projects from academic, to healthcare, institutional, athletic, and professional sports facilities. He has a passion for seeing older buildings come to life again, and watching new buildings rise up.
